True Blue | Made from Nature
From Vat to Garment
Natural indigo is a powder from the leaves of the indigo plant called Indigofera tinctoria. It is one of the oldest dyes known to humankind - there is evidence of its use from as far back as the Bronze Age Indus Valley (3300 - 1300 B.C.).
Most commercial dyeing now uses synthetic indigo and harsh chemicals to create blue colors. We are proud to offer only 100% non-toxic indigo in our collection.
